Sometimes the hardest people to buy for are the people closest to us. I am always at a loss when it comes to my parents or say, my boyfriend’s parents. I know they want something practical but not so practical that it doesn’t constitute a gift. I also know if they receive items that they think is too “fancy”, they’ll save it for a special occasion instead of using it right away.
Tea seems to hit that sweet spot, especially if you nudge them that quality tea should not be saved or else it loses its flavor and potency. So while tea might not be the most glamorous gift out there,it makes up with quality and quantity (16 ounces to be exact).
As for the tea itself, the jasmine fragrance on this tea is delicate and not overpowering. You can adjust the strength by using less pearls/leaves since its loose leaf. Overall, I found it to be high quality and something my family enjoyed.
My only qualm is it comes in a black resealable bag, thus missing some points on the packaging front. I think this is easily fixable by finding a nice semi-airtight box or tin to wrap the bag in. Plus, the container can be used to store the tea after the pack has been opened. I’d also recommend getting a tea spoon (similar here) and wrapping it on top with a ribbon or some twine and greenery.
